| We use the finest woods available for construction of our umbrellas. Oak/Ash, Mahogany and Teak. Our Mahogany and Oak/Ash umbrellas are finished with an oil based stain adding extra protection against the elements. This stain is a marine grade material similar to that used on boats. This provides extra protection from the elements. Our stain will not stain, crack or peel like the materials used on many other umbrellas and may be easily reapplied.
The Mahogany and Teak umbrellas will ultimately weather to a beautiful silvery/gray finish. All of these woods are extremely durable making them perfectly suited for outdoor usage. Beware! Some imported market umbrellas are constructed from woods you have never heard of. Some of which are indoor grade materials that are incapable of withstanding outdoor use. Feel free to browse the links below to find out more! |
