Our Pineapple System is horizontally laminated with 6-ply, marine-grade plywood for superior strength. This is critical as the pineapple system carries most of the weight of the frame while holding the ribs in place.

Our Ribs are 7/8" x 1-1/4" thick which makes them almost twice as thick as other umbrellas. The thinner the rib, the easier it snaps in windy conditions. Our poles have either a 1-1/2" or 2" pole diameter made from a solid piece of wood. A solid pole insures stability of the frame.

Our Double Pulley System is the most complete in the industry making opening and closing the patio umbrella a snap.

Our solid Frame is much stronger than those frames which are in two pieces and slide together. It's more difficult for us to ship it; however, we will not sacrifice strength as most other companies do.

We use only 100% sunbrella (tm) acrylic for our tops which are double stitched with reinforced pockets to accommodate our thicker rib.

Our solid pole comes equipped with a 10" aluminum protective sleeve.

This sleeve slides into the umbrella base. Without the sleeve, water could come in contact with the wood causing it to swell and distort making it impossible to remove.
